Senior Session with Randi – Town, Sunset, and Sweet Memories

My senior session with Randi was such a blast! We kicked things off at a local ice cream shop in Surf City, NC, where we captured a few fun photos and shared some laughs. Right away, I could tell Randi was a little nervous, but within minutes, we were joking around and having fun. She mentioned wanting a mix of candid and posed senior portraits—something I always aim to deliver—and we made sure to get both.

After the ice cream shop (and a hilarious moment involving a giant flamingo I threatened to pose her on), we headed to a charming little sidewalk spot near the IGA for more creative senior photos.

Next, we made our way to the beach—one of my favorite spots for senior photography in Surf City. Randi brought three outfits plus her cap and gown, and she looked beautiful in each one. She started in a classic white top and jean skirt, and then an adorable white dress for her cap-and-gown portraits, and we even grabbed a few sweet shots with her mom, Mariann, who joined us and brought such a supportive, loving energy to the session.

Randi’s final outfit—my personal favorite—was a stunning look from Apricot Lane. As the sun began to set and blue hour rolled in, the sky turned magical. We ended the session with her splashing in the water and even lying in the sand and surf. She was up for anything, which made the session so fun and relaxed.
